Who are we ?

Pyllola.com is an Italian-based company, owned and operated by Pyllola SRLs Rome, Italy.
​
All our doctors are fully licensed in the EU and all of them are well experienced doctors. Some are family practice physicians and some general practitioners, all of them speak English, other speak Italian as well and some other speak additional languages. Our healthcare services are available 7 days a week and comprises urgent care and non-urgent.
If you feel you have a medical emergency or if you encounter someone in a critical need for medical care, please call 166, which is the Greek number for emergencies.

What do we offer?

Telemedicine (aka Telehealth or Televisit)
The most requested service we provide is Telemedicine. This is where you talk (and see) one of our medical doctors using your smartphone. You will discuss with him/her about the problem and get advised, and if necessary he/she will send you an electronic prescription with directions of use. You won't have to print it, just show it in any pharmacy.

We keep open time slots for calls every day. We keep track of the available slots and we add them when necessary. In case you have an urgent medical problem you can ask us to open a slot within one hour and we'll try to satisfy those requests. This service constitutes the best urgent care service for travelers in Greece.

Medicine Replacement / refills
Understanding real-world situation we know that sometimes our plans can be changed or disrupted by factors we don't control. Change in plans can cause that you run out of supply of the medications you brought with you and now you need a refill or a new prescription of the same.

You can ask us for medicines refill right from your phone. We keep an extensive database of medicines brands in many countries, so we can match the local medication to the one you take at home even by its brand name. Note that we can prescribe only common use medications and not opioids, narcotics or containing amphetamines (see our FAQ, and Terms of use) Refill requests are typically answered in 1-2 hours, but many times even faster.

Once you finish the request process, either the medicines refill or the Telemedicine, you'll get a notification along with the payment receipt. In case of a video-call you'll get an email with a direct call button and once the time is due just tap on it and you'll be connected to the doctor.

Please note that for a better efficiency of the service, the request forms (both for telemedicine and refills) are located within our italian site at https://www.pyllola.com where you'll be directed to. This doesn't affect the service you'll get.
You also may get an Italian prescription that is by law fully valid in all Europe and Greece. All our prescriptions have an electronic signature of the issuing doctor and its validity can be checked online
